Peoplehood Parade
The Peoplehood Parade is a unique celebration that allows participants to express their creativity and civic concerns while taking to the streets in order to celebrate our city’s greatest strength: its diversity. Join in the events as neighbors from across the city convene in West Philly to represent themselves and reawaken the spirit of Brotherly Love in Philadelphia.
Pack City Council for anticipated arena legislation introduction
It's time to fight the billionaires! Mark Squilla is planning to introduce legislation for the arena on October 24. Philly needs to show up and show out to stop this!
Meet at the northeast corner of City Hall with a photo ID.

Save Chinatown Organizing Call
Mayor Parker announced the "agreement" that she negotiated solely with the developers and started the 30-day clock on legislation. The Save Chinatown Coalition is hosting a call this Sunday to get folks involved and learn about how we've won previous fights and the actions ahead of us.
Mayor Parker wants to convince everyone it’s a done deal–but Chinatown has defeated a federal prison, a stadium, and a casino before. This fight is not over—far from it. The developers may have the money, but we have the people. Please share with your members and allies!

Community meeting with Mayor Parker
All hands on deck! We need as many of you as possible to fill the room this Wednesday, September 11th from 6 to 8 PM during Mayor Parker's community meeting. Enter the Convention Center at 13th & Arch.
If we didn't know better, we'd wonder if announcing a community meeting just three days in advance was a tactic to say one had listened to the community without actually encouraging much turnout. We might even wonder if this is happening just before Thursday's council session because arena legislation might be introduced.
Show up in your shirts, bring signs, and come ready to ask real questions. Let's hold our leadership accountable.
Rally & March: no Arena in the Heart of Our City
